I sold my watch & its activation locked. New owner can't sign in.

I sold my Apple Watch, and the new owner couldn't pair it. I signed into iCloud and hit "erase" and she still can't sign in. Its asking for my Apple ID and PW. We are long distance and I dont know how to help her. I obviously can't send her my password.
