thunderbolt port failure on new MB Pro

I have a new MacBook Pro 16 " and the left rear side thunderbolt port stopped working. I only sued it to power the laptop. The hardware should not be failing. Spent a lot of money on this computer.


Please let me know what next steps I should be taking.
