Disabled account in the App Store and iTunes

i recently bought a new phone and my previous credit card on file is not active so I wanted to change my credit card info, but every time I try to change it, it says my account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes. So I can’t get any new apps or update any old apps.

iPhone 12, iOS 14

If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes'


If you see a message that says "Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes," there might be a problem with the payment method that you have on file.


When you see the message, don't try to edit any of your account information. Instead, contact Apple Support for help.
