Updating Big Sur 11.0.1 to 11.1

Had many issues getting Big Sur installed but its has been successful.

Ran the update for 11.1 this morning. Went through the whole process, rebooted and said x mins remaining. Then completed or so I thought.

Its now still telling me I need to download and update to 11.1

Whats going on?

Ive seen the fix of downloading via the App Store but Im not wanting to download another 12gb (the internet is dire in my area with people at home.) and end up loosing my MacBook Air again over the holidays.

Any fixes for this?

You should attempt to upgrade again. When installing the Mac needs to reboot 2-3 times and if it does not take it will reboot to the 11.0.1. I had this issue twice before it took.
