Can two numbers documents be combined.

Apologies for ths late response. I seem to have missed your post yesterday.

Yes, it's possible. The amount of effort depends on what you mean by "combine.

If you mean "place two completely independent documents into a single document where they remain independent of each other, and where at least one of the Documents contains a single sheet, it should be pretty easy. If you want the two separate documents to interact, it will likely be more complicated.

Before starting, you should Duplicate both of the documents t ensure that the originals survive any disaster occurring with the copies.

Simple case:

Choose which is to be the base document. If one has multiple sheet's, thats your choice.

Go through both documents and edit table names so that no two tables in either document have the same name.

Ditto for Sheet names.

In the single sheet document, select all of the objects on that sheet, then press command C to Copy.

In the base document, Click the + in the Sheet tabs bar to add a new Sheet.

Click on the new sheet, then press command-V to paste the clipboard contents to that sheet.

Do any ''move this' and 'move that' tasks needed to put the various elements where you want them.

Rename the new Sheet if needed.

That, except for any needed cleanup of the original 'second doc' should complete the task.

For documents that you want to interact, the first part is essentially similar, but you'll need to carry on with establishing the interactions after the initial steps.
