Siri will play songs from my library on my iPhone, but when i ask siri to play the same songs from my Home Pod it just says cannot find (the song) on apple music. I do not have an apple music subscription.

it only support apple music and music purchased from apple
it does not access a computers shared itunes lib
to play that music you need to use airplay from the computer or iphone
