For some reason, my Macbook Pro 13" 90% of the time, after I open the lid it suddenly in login mode and then everything loads up again?
I have updated all the software to the latest version and have a 1TB drive with about 35% free so no issue there.
Any ideas?

Have you tried resetting the SMC yet? This can resolve sleep/wake issues: How to reset the SMC of your Mac.
Also try working through these steps in the user guide: If your Mac won’t go to or stay in sleep.

Spoke too soon, only fixed it for a day or two ;( Just done it again, lifted the lid and it presents me with the user login pages so logged me out ;(
