My 2015 Macbook won't allow me to upgrade to the Big Sur due to this message: "There is not enough free space on the Macintosh HD to upgrade the OS." Where is the best place to purchase/install more space? It states I need additional 4.98 GB to upgrade. Many thanks for your suggestions and ideas.

I recommend purchasing external storage. That makes life much easier. A couple of good places to purchase drives and RAM are macsales.com and crucial.com. They have good prices and excellent support.
