In an effort to reduce environmental impact Apple announced they would no longer include a charger with new iPhones in September. They list the included accessories in the store site for each device.

The fact is people most likely already have any number of chargers that can be used to charge the new iPhones if they have ever owned any mobile device within the last 10 years. Or immediately go out and buy a different charger and Apple's chargers remain in the box unused. It makes little sense to include one in those situations.

If you have a charger from previous device, iPad, iPod, iPhone, some recent Macs, Android phones and tablets or any number USB chargers, you can use those to charge your device. You can also just plug the iPhone into a Computer USB port or a USB port in any number of devices in your home including TVs, Cable boxes, Blu-ray players, game consoles, power strips, etc....

In the rare case you don't have one, you can buy one from Apple or a myriad of 3rd parties that make them.
