what can I do to make my iPhone and my iMac delete email when I'm using one or the other. If I delete a message on my iPhone it is still present on my iMac when I open my email there.

Just got a new iMac and want to know what to do to make one device delete email for both . If I'm using my iMac and I delete an email when I open email on the iPhone the same message is still there. how do I make either one delete for the other.

It sounds like you do not use iCloud and if you do then it's time to check the settings on your phone and Mac.
