Anker is a reliable brand for all Apple products and devices.
I have lots of Anker accessories I use with lots of Apple products.
That adapter maybe for audio use only.
As far as USB-C accessories go, you are going to need to pay for all new USB-C accessories.
Apple is slowly phasing out its proprietary data Lightnng connector and ports for a more world-wide data connection cable protocol standard.
You have no choice in this.
You will need to start purchasing USB-C accessories.
Sorry, but that's the way it is going to be going forward with Apple.
