Why doesn’t my Apple TV have an Apple TV+app?
I have one of the first Apple TV’s, even after having the latest download, the Apple TV+ app is not there. I have a Sumsung Series 8 65” tv with no app is well??

The Apple TV app is available on Apple TV box 3rd generation or later, not on 2nd generation or earlier.
You may want to replace aging hardware after some 10 years, if you value new features.
Support for smart TVs is likewise dependent on newer models.
