updating software on old iMac

I have an IMac 21.5 Late 2012 model and apparently had my auto updates turned off! So we are still running Yosemite 10.10.5. What software do I need to upgrade to and how do I find it?

Thanks

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download El Capitan, High Sierra, Mojave, or Catalina through the links provided.
