Hi

I have a question regarding storage.

When I Check my iMac, IOS files have taken up around 150 GB of my computers it normal?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Yes. Because it is taking into account many other files that are associated with the system and not just what's in the System folder.


If you want to know how much space is on your hard drive select it's icon on the Desktop and use the key combination of ⌘+i to bring up the Info pane for the drive. That will tell you how much free space you have. Do the same for the System folder or any item you want to know how big it is. Do not rely on the About this Mac graph.
