I added a third party app to check the temprature on my mac (iStat Menu), and when I deleted the app and all its files it did not delete the widget with it. What can I do? I tried restarting my computer but that did not work.

You can contact the developer and ask how to uninstall it. They may have an uninstaller on their website which may still work, or at least some instructions.

Did you use the uninstaller provided by iStat Menus? If it needed an installer to install, it needs an uninstaller to uninstall.
