You have to persist two or three times, before it will connect to a known SSID network name with a different password.

Hi garret98,

We understand that you're having problems connecting your Apple TV to your Wi-Fi network after changing the password, and we'd like to help.

When you try to connect the Apple TV, do you see an alert saying the current Wi-Fi password is incorrect? If not, what happens if you open Settings > General > Network and try to change the password from there? We have more details at:

If your Apple TV won't connect to Wi-Fi

Have a great day!
