demon email has frozen my mail program and everything else

I'm trying to follow the directions here to delete an overly large file from my draft folder in mail. the directions here are from 2008. they say,

Go to your user folder/Library/Mail. Locate the folder that contains this draft—it

might be called something like POP-yourname@pop.example.com.

Locate the Drafts.mbox folder inside this folder and then the Messages folder

within that folder. Inside you should find a numbered file with a .emlx

extension—something like 18391.emlx. That’s your nagging message. Toss it.

can someone please tell me where to find library/mail in the current configuration. I've gotten to two libraries. one has the application which I don't want. the other has no library folder.

~ tilde indicates hidden Local Library

Apple hid the Users' Library folders...

Method 1:

  1. From the Finder, select the Go menu at top of the screen, and choose Go to Folder.
  2. In the window that opens, enter ~/Library, and click Go.
