I just changed my iTunes / apple ID and in turning on computer, iTunes is asking multiple time for password. There is no indication that my password is incorrect.

In logging onto computer, iTunes is repeatedly asking me for password after changing my password.

There is no indication that my password is incorrect or not recognized. Why is this?
