Photo app on Mac

I can't find the photos on my MacBook Air at all. I've tried the finder and everything. The app isn't here. My software is upgraded but still no app. Please help

Hit CMD-Space.

In the search bar that comes up, type "Photos"

The photos app should be the first thing that comes up. If it doesn't find it, there is a problem with your macOS installation (photos is part of MacOS)
