This has been a problem for one person specifically, I don’t really text many people so I’ve only noticed it with one contact in particular. But I will get NO notifications when this person texts me, not even a red bubble on the messages app. I have to actually open up the app and go to their chat in order to see that they have messaged me. Anybody else?
From the main conversation screen in Messages, find the conversation with the person with whom you're having this problem. Put your finger on it and drag left. Look at the blue icon with a bell? If it does not have a line through it, tap it.
