macOS tries to install iOS apps from my iPhone

I have a quite annoying issue/bug.

macOS tries to install every single app I have on my iPhone and each installation fails.

I get a bunch of notifications, covering the entire screen, saying "App download failed - Couldn't install 'APP_NAME'. Try again later."

What can I do about this? Can I disable it?

I attach the screenshot. Pay attention to notifications.

Turn off "Automatically download apps purchased on other devices" in the App Store > Preferences.
