Not able to get iPhone Handoff to HomePod to work

I am having trouble getting my iPhone 12 Pro to Handoff to my HomePods - iPhone is up to date (iOS 14.3) and both HomePods are up to date (14.3) It used to work with my old iPhone 11 Pro.

I believe I have everything else set up correctly - AirPlay & Handoff - Transfer to HomePod is turned on.

I have done a hard reset on the iPhone and HomePods.

Airplay does work from the iPhone to the HomePods.

Thanks for any suggestions. It is a neat feature when it is working.

Tried all of that and still will not Handoff to HomePod. This is on my iPhone 12 Pro

Thought I would dig a bit deeper/

I have an iPhone SE (Second Generation) and it works fine.

I also have an iPhone 6 and it works fine as well.

Would welcome any other suggestions. When using the iPhone 12 Pro I am able to use AirPlay with no issues and when I ask SIRI to play any of my PlayLists (via HomePod) she does so.

I am not aware of any other issues with the iPhone 12 Pro - This is my daily iPhone. It does have both the eSim and a Sim Card in it, so I do have both Lines turned on.

Might be time to try Apple Support then. Works with my 11 Pro Max.

Try Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Home > While Using.

Thanks, those setting are on as you suggested, toggled OFF and ON and still not Handing Off

Try turning off Bluetooth on your phone, reboot it, then burn Bluetooth on again. Reboot your router and power cycle the HomePod, leave it all a bit of time to settle down before trying again.

In Settings>Privacy>Motion & Fitness>Fitness Tracking>Toggle on

I need this on for it to work.

Can you try with a different phone to see if it is the iPhone or the Homepod the with issue?

Thanks, yes I have tried it with the following and it works fine

My iPhone SE (Second Generation) and works fine

Finally decided to reset all settings. Pain in the *** as I had to reset lots and lots of items along with Apple Pay, but it is now working correctly - Handoff from iPhone to HomePod is a go.
