I received a replacement iPhone XR and have set up new phone and transferred all data/apps. Shut down both the original and replacement phones and then powered back on. The new phone does not have cellular or internet service while the old phone continues to have the Verizon service. How to get new service off the old phone and the replacement phone connected to my Verizon service?

I’ve had this happen when getting a new phone and the activation not switching over to the new one. Unfortunately after all attempts at self correcting I had to contact Verizon to have them do something on their end.
