Apple Watch won't turn on

My Apple Watch won’t turn on. It’s fully charged and I tried holding down the buttons on the side and nothing is working and I don’t know what to do. I was sitting on the couch and it was working fine and then I looked at the screen and it was black and I have no clue what’s wrong with it or how to fix it.
