excel file lost from iMac

Can I recover from iCloud an excel file that was accidentally deleted from my iMac?

Since Excel is a Microsoft Product, iCloud does not auto sync with Excel. Do you have a Time Machine Backup? If so, you can try restoring it from that - Restore items backed up with Time Machine on Mac - Apple Support
