How to hook up two Dell U2720QM monitors to Mac mini M1.

I tried to hook up my Dell U2720QM monitor using the USB-C connections, and it wasn't recognised. I switched to the HDMI cable, and it works fine. I want to get a 2nd Dell monitor, and I need to know if it will work with the USB-C cable. Is there something that needs to be turned on to make it work?

You can't use 2 USB-C/TB3 ports on the M1.

You have to use one USB-C and the other HDMI.
