How do I remove my Apple ID from my wife’s phone and create a new one for her phone

We understand you'd like to switch the Apple ID signed into your wife's phone. We can help with that.

Once you've got the new Apple ID created, you're going to need to sign out of iCloud on her phone and if prompted for the currently used Apple ID's password, to enter that. We would then suggest choosing to keep a copy of her data on the phone when signing out so she doesn't lose all her contacts, calendar events, reminders, etc that are currently stored in her current iCloud account. She can then choose to sync those over to the new Apple ID once it's been created and signed into iCloud in the Settings app.
