How do I stop iOS 14 from rearranging my apps?

This has become a HUGE problem for me. When I open my iPhone or iPad, my apps have been rearranged. I’m tired of scrolling around looking for my apps, and puttinag them back where I want them. Can I turn this ”new feature” off?

It's something in the new iOS called stack widget. It's grouping my apps into squares Apple has decided they should be in. I want to shut it off, but I can't figure out how. I'm sick of looking for my apps!

I think you're referring to the App Library, which does do some automatic organizing. The App Library cannot be turned off.

Did you have several home screens of apps before iOS 14? If so, it's possible some are hidden, and this might help: https://9to5mac.com/2020/09/25/how-to-hide-iphone-app-pages-ios-14/

For info:

The App Library is a feature of iOS14 for iPhone. App Library is not a feature of iPadOS14.
