Icloud
I have 50gb of space and it says 12.3gb is 'backup. How can i see what is in this? I am trying to find photos.

You cannot view the contents of an iCloud Backup. You can only use it to do a full restore of a device or to setup a new device. See instructions in: Restore or set up your device from an iCloud backup - Apple Support
Also note that photos are not included in an iCloud Backup if you have iCloud Photos turned on. If you have iCloud Photos turned on, the photos on the device are the same as on iCloud, with the possible exception that some of them may be space-saving optimized versions if you have that option turned on. You view them in the Photos app on an iOS device. You can also use a computer and login to icloud.com and go to the Photos app there. See: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support
