Family Sharing only seems to work one way?

I’ve just set up Family Sharing with my wife. She now has access to my Apple Arcade and Apple Music subscriptions, however I’ve just tried to download Procreate from the App Store, which she has already purchased, and yet it’s still telling me that I need to pay £9.99 for it.

She has enabled Purchase Sharing on her iPad (a 2020 ‘standard’ iPad - I’m using a 2020 iPad Air) and I’ve tried signing out of the App Store and signing back in, but this doesn’t seem to make any difference.

I’d rather not have to pay £10 for the app when I should now be able to access it for free - can anyone help?

Greetings, Marshall-K.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. It’s understandable that you’d want more information about which content can be shared with Family Sharing.

Check out the following resource: What types of content can I share with my family? When we check the App Store for Procreate, we can see it does indeed support Family Sharing, which means members in the family group should be able to see the app when shared: ‎Procreate on the App Store

Since you are unable to see a shared app that is supported by Family Sharing, please try the suggestions found in this article next: If you don't see your family's shared content

If the issue remains, let us know if you experience this issue when sharing other applications as well, or if it's just Procreate giving the trouble.

All the best.
