Hello. I accepted my one year free subscription on 1-4-21. I access it through my laptop. I recently purchased the Roku device and it has a Apple TV app. Can I access my Apple TV subscription through Roku and if so how?

Yes. I use my Roku for Apple TV+. After adding the Apple TV App I signed into my Apple account using the Roku remote control. See the "How do I sign into the Apple TV channel?" section of https://support.roku.com/article/360036652634
