arrangements in system preferences
I want to connect a monitor with my macbook and on youtube you see everyone using arrangements in display systeù preferences but I don't have that how can I solve this problem so I have arrangemenst?

See if you still have this option >System Preferences>Displays
press the Option key while you're in Displays— You'll get a Detect displays button (bottom right).
there is a checkbox "Show displays in menu bar". If you check it, you get a new icon in the menu bar that has "Detect Displays" as its first option.
You should see the arrangements , and/ or click the question mark in the lower right for the help menu.
