Unable to factory reset iPad due to Activation Lock requesting my previous Apple ID. I changed my Apple ID to a new Apple ID, but my iPad continues to search for my old Apple ID. I haven't used this iPad for a couple years. I decided the other day to use the iPad, but the Activation Lock prevents me from using the device.

You will need to recover the old AppleID to use it or release it for use with a new AppleID. See ->
