Third party AV is not recommended— it typically does nothing but add issues to the macOS and competes directly with Apples own built in security:

The best anti-virus app on your Mac is the OS and a bit of common sense from you.

Due diligence on the part of the user and No Antivirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers etc are required - they reck havoc and can cause corruption of OS
