Why does iOS 14.4 not give the option to skip passcode setup?
I do not want to set up a passcode. Why isn’t there an option to continue without one?

I do not want to set up a passcode. Why isn’t there an option to continue without one?

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. No one here can answer a question that begins “Why”.
However, you can create a passcode, then, after the phone is set up, go to Settings/FaceID & Passcode and turn it off. If you do your phone will not save passwords or exercise & health data, and you won’t be able to use the Wallet app or Apple Pay.
