Macbook pro battery problem

Hello, over a few weeks my MacBook Pro that i had for two years had started to act weird whenever i would plug it in to charge. For example i would plug in the charger and it would not charge the device at all, i had to adjust the USB-C port near the battery adapter to get it to charge. And now recently when i had unplugged my computer from its charger it would simply keep the lighting bolt on the battery even though it was not plugged in, now my MacBook is simply drained out of battery and i do not know what to do.

A SMC reset may help.
