Shared Apple ID

My daughter and I have been sharing an apple ID. We are having problems with her Airpods connecting to my phone constantly even though we have gone into settings and selected "forget this device." Do we need to separate in some manner? If so, please tell me how. Thanks!

Absolutely. Never share an Apple ID. That’s true regardless of the age of the people involved.


The person acquiring a new Apple ID needs to thoroughly cleanse her/his device(s) as follows:

Set up Family Sharing if you wish.
