iPhone won’t backup to iCloud

My iPhone 7 will not back up to iCloud, I brought extra storage already. It’s plugged in and is telling me it will take 16 HOURS to backup!!!!

How long it will take is dependent on how much data you have to back up and the uplink speed of your Internet connection.
