Iphone 12 ringing when its on silent

Just to be sure, are you experiencing this behavior with the feature of, "Do Not Disturb"? If so, let's see if you have, "Favorites" enabled to receive incoming phone calls, even if your iPhone is in Silent mode. If needed, here's an article on how to verify that: Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch Specifically, you'll want to follow the section that says, "Change your settings."

I have the same issue. When I have the switch toggled to Do Not Disturb (showing red on the switch), some calls will still ring. Totally random too. One thing I can add is that if it toggle the switch when one of these calls is ringing, the ringtone gets quieter. Meaning, it is blasting me out when it is on silent mode and goes to the actual ringer volume setting when I toggle away from red. There has got to be a bug here.
