Why is quick look offering CROP tool on macbook, and the preview app won't allow CROP tool, it's just grey. Not working.

Not at a Mac at the Moment, but I think you must make a selection to make the crop button active.

I think the other way around isn't intuitive. I want to select an area and crop out the edges.
