Just got an M1 and i have a bluetooth apple keyboard. However on screen i am getting two alternating graphics suggesting that either a mouse of a macbook needs to be turned on, which is very confusing. There are no words with these graphics. I have made the key board discoverable - I don’t have a mouse. No online information on fist launch covers this issue. Help!!!

We'd love to assist you with your Bluetooth keyboard. First, the bottom picture in your screenshot is referring to the keyboard. Are you getting an error when trying to connect it? Also, are you using a mouse that has to be plugged in?

Thank you Carl. I borrowed an Apple Magic Mouse from a friend and that worked fine. Once I got it working the keyboard and trackpad all clicked in. All sorted. Cheers.
