Is there a way to print out passwords?

I have long used a Microsoft Excel file to record my passwords in. I update it whenever a password is added or changed. I print out a copy to keep handy for reference when needed. The Excel spreadsheet is password protected, so it can only be opened when I enter the password. Simple and easy to use.

You’re basically using Excel as your password manager, rather than using a purpose-dedicated password manager.

There are scripts available which purport to export passwords from Keychain, yes.

I have not tried any if this. I’d encourage learning about and using a password manager.

You make a good point. For some people a password manager can make their lives less complicated. I have looked at them in the past. My purpose is somewhat different. I only wanted to have a quick reference document I could refer to when needed. It's simple and works for me.

BTW: for website passwords, Safari on Mac can show those passwords directly, though (deliberately) not all at once.

Safari > Preferences > Passwords > authenticate > Details, then start clicking around.

Not from Keychain Access or any other App I'm aware of.
