My daughter has created her own Apple ID now, but when she wants to use App Store to update some programs, it's my Apple ID that keeps appearing (in grey - can't change). If read many posts, even some that mention Parental Control, but I can't find that section on her Mac at all. Hope somewhere here can help me out. She has Catalina.

Those purchases are tied to your ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by your ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check her purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
Or you can try to set up Family Sharing between the IDs to keep access to your purchases.

You are welcome. After deleting the apps, it may be necessary to restart the computer before she can download the apps again.
What happens to the content she's already made (and folders etc.) - is that also deleted if the app is deleted?
