How do I find an AirPod that is dead?

How do i find an airpod that is dead ? Last night i heard it ring and this morning it isn’t, i couldn’t get it last night because of my baby and now i’m wondering how i could find it, thank you !

If the battery is dead then there's nothing you can do apart from a visual search. You could look for it in the Find My app but that will only tell you if you are within a hundred feet of it which you apparently are or else you wouldn't have heard it last night.
