iPhone 12 Pro randomly goes into silent mode without moving the switch

As the subject line states, my phone will randomly turn on silent mode without physically moving the switch. Only way to fix it is to move the switch back and forth. It’s been doing this since the release. It definitely feels like a software bug.

Hmm, I'm not aware of any software issues in that area. Do you have a case on your phone? I've heard that some cases can move the switch slightly.

Also see:

Otherwise, the only other alternative is to have the phone hardware checked:

Apple - Find Locations
