Will the hdmi cable I use with my old apple tv work with apple tv 4K?

It depends. If you are still using a 1080P TV then the same cable will do, however if you have also upgraded to a 4K TV then you will need to make sure you have a cable that can support 4K/HDR (18GBPS)
