Macbook Air M1 gives only YPbPr colours to external monitor!

I am using a Macbook Air M1 connecting it through USB-c with the Dell U2721DE monitor and I am getting a YPBPR colour profile. When I am manually changing it, from the monitor's menu, to RGB the colours get a violet tint. It is really frustrating to purchase two top of the line products that are not working properly. The image quality is significantly lower in comparison to when I connect the monitor to a Windows device. The texts are blurry and the colours are off.

Please let me know if there are any workarounds until Apple finally solves this major problem.

Thanks!
