Hello itforsenior,

It sounds as though you're not able to view the contacts names or the sending email address within the Mail app on your iPad running iPadOS/iOS 10. To clarify a bit further, are you running the latest version of iPadOS/iOS 10? The latest version is iPadOS/iOS 10.3.3. If not, do update following the steps outlined below.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're running the latest iPadOS version, or the issue continues after updating attempt to restart the iPad.

Restart your iPad

Have a wonderful day.

Hi itforsenior,

We're glad you ahd the chance to complete those steps. With the issue continues after restarting, we'd like to dive in to the issue further. Do you notice if the contacts are missing for multiple email accounts, one specific account? Also, is it just the name of a saved contact that's missing, does the email appear as expected?

If so, have you verified that the email address is added to the contact card in Contacts? If not, do confirm that the email address is saved.

We look forward to your response.
