Slow startup on mac mini M1

Is anyone having an issue with slow start up time for the new mini M1? I only have 2 login items, One Drive and Fantastical. I have the 16gb 2 TB version and RAM is at 9gb.

It takes 42 seconds before the Apple logo even pops up, but speeds through that in about 2 to 3 seconds, another 5 seconds for the desktop to finish (loading OneDrive, fantastical and creative cloud).

I unhooked everything except wired ethernet, keyboard and mouse in the 2 USB 2 ports, thunderbolt 3 to 2 adapter with Thunderbolt display connected. So no external drives or hubs.

It was lightning fast when I first got it, but very slow now. If I connect my superdrive, it makes its indexing sound just before the apple logo pops up, so it seems like it's taking a while to load drivers.
