All the words of each of your paragraphs would simply wrap in the first cell of the table when copy/pasted. And this would repeat with the second paragraph when copy/pasted into the first cell of row 2 in the table, and so on. Unless that is what you want, then converting paragraphs of text to n-tuple table cells is not going to work for you. Unless…

If there are five words separated only by a tab, and no trailing tab, I can select a row or more of this formatted text and copy/paste into the first selected table cell, and it will automatically assign each tab delineated word to its own column in row 1 of the table, and with multiple rows of this formatted text pasted, they would automatically expand as additional table rows with the same column assignment behavior.

Apple is not here. You can send feedback to the Pages product team from the Pages application menu. Any form of automated text to table conversion has been missing from Pages now for almost 8 years, so don't get your hopes up.

The free LibreOffice Suite has LibreOffice Writer. When you enter n-tuple sentences separated by a paragraph break, and select those sentences, LibreOffice Writer has a Table > Convert > Text to Table menu item that replaces the selected text with n-tuple table rows with a page-width, single table column containing your previously selected text. There is also a conversion from Table to Text on that Table > Convert sub-menu.
